The influence of genetically modified soy on the productivity and quality of muscle tissue of pigs

Goal. To study the productive and slaughter qualities of young pigs chemical composition muscle tissue liver for use high-protein fodder — narrow-leaf lupine genetically modified (GM) soybeans as a part grain mixes. Methods. In experiment, two groups experimental animals were formed: first group (control) was fed with mixture № 1 narrow-leaved (alkaloid-free) sunflower cake; second (experimental) received 2 GM soy. The live weight determined by individual weighing before morning feeding, feed payment gain calculation method, quality technology used at meat processing enterprises, generally accepted methods. Laboratory studies soy, tissue, content organisms carried out Ukrainian Quality Safety Agricultural Products. Results. Soybeans contained desoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), had target promoter sequence 35S + FMV Cauliflower mosaic virus, NOS-terminator (nopaline synthase) Agrobacterium tumefaciens. According to results qualitative analysis longest back pigs, no products containing them found. Conclusions. Optimizing protein nutrition due compared cake harmed average daily gains (–11.6%) higher expenditure exchangeable energy (+20.5%) per unit gain. A comparative gilts showed that in II group, concentration dry matter, protein, ash lower 0.60%, 1.10 0.08% abs., respectively, fat 0.58% abs. greater than I group.
